Ed Robbins lives in Malta, NY with his wife of twenty+ years, Jamie, their two children, Colby and Madden, and their German Shepherd, Ollie. Ed and his family enjoy camping, boating, hiking, skiing, running, and spending time with Ollie. Before joining DogWatch, Ed worked in telecommunications for more than 20 years.
Ed was first introduced to DogWatch during the summer of 2001 during a 'career transition'. That summer Ed installed hidden fences for the previous owners of the DogWatch Dealership, giving him an opportunity to learn more about the bsiness. His dog, Ollie has used a DogWatch fence his entire life and was introduced to the BigLeash at around 1 year old. Ollie had a severe case of obsessive tail chasing and the BigLeash helped tremendously.
Years later, while making a routine battery purchase, Ed learned the owners of DogWatch were going to retire. They offered Ed the opportunity to take over the business. He accepted! For Ed, owning a business dedicated to keeping pets safe in their yards and giving pet-parents peace of mind is the best job ever!
